Since I love Chalkboard Art ~ wrapping my gifts in chalkboard paper is not a stretch of the imagination.  

This ‘Chalkboard Elfie Ribbon Slide‘ was just the perfect touch!

Coordinating the ribbon, trims and other wrappings is part of the creative fun.  

Using buffalo check wrapping in black with what else ~ but black and white bakers twine with a few vintage colored balls.

Even hand stamping the white tissue paper with buffalo check….you can see a little piece peeking thru in the next image ~ right underneath the small gift.

and speaking of small gift….did you catch the ‘gift video’ on my FaceBook timeline to make evergreen branches?  It makes a great gift tag too, shown on the small gift above.

How about trimming the chalkboard paper with chalk marker….as shown.

Surely as a creative person you love coordinating the wrapping as much as I do!

Looking ahead to 2019

I will be introducing Classic Curated Shopping with Amy Joanne.  Vignettes will be shown as in the images here…sharing either a pattern, information on where to purchase items or even purchase from my shop or order originals…..told ya 2019 was gonna be awesome!  

The vignettes will have vintage, retail and handmade originals.  Shop within this blog or thru our new retail location…..lots more to come on this thru-out 2019. 

I am super excited!  

Just as an example…..in the image above I would mention in the Shopping Post ~ the free ‘No Peeking’ pattern, the vintage glass ball ornaments would be available to purchase, sharing that I purchased the linens thru Target, the wrapping paper link would be shared thru Amazon….there will be a place to purchase the entire ‘vignette’ when available as well…..just an idea of what is coming.

While shopping Hobby Lobby I had a few minutes to browse so I left the wood, paper and paintbrush isles and moved to the softer side of stitching, floral and fabrics…..falling immediately in love with this pillow pom-pom trim (in images)….thinking it would make great snowball garland……‘I will take 3 yards please….’.

What I simply wanted to say to you is….have a Beautiful Merry Christmas!
