It’s that time…….time to wrap the gifts and let the celebrating begin! Time to gather with family and friends. Time to reflect on our Sunday School lessons and the reason for the Season. And time to savor a moment or two and have a Merry Christmas!
The wrapping can be as simple as purchasing a favorite wrapping paper for each person and adorn it with ribbon and such to match the paper.
For this vintage Peanuts Gang paper….simply clip a Charlie Brown Tree from the backyard and add the red Christmas ball. Then add a tag by cutting a snippet of the wrapping paper and glue to colored card stock, cut and attach with ribbon or yarn. Pretty cute!
A wood slice is fitting for the Cabin In The Woods wrapping paper…drawing a simple cabin design and adding a little snow with paint to the surface, add it to the wrapping with clippings of greens and berries and velvet ribbon in green!
Here is a fun stocking stuffer idea….use wool socks instead of traditional stockings! Simply fill with sweets and goodies!
And It’s a wrap for 2019 ~ Take time to enjoy simple moments like taking a ride to look at Christmas lights, sneaking a warm cookie from the oven, staying in your pj’s, and singing along to your favorite Christmas tunes!
