Whopper Salad Bowl

Recipes have their moment and if you have been following along on Pinterest ~ lately we are having an ‘everything can be made into a Bowl moment’…. yes, a ‘toss it in a bowl’ trend is happening.

And since I am a ‘one dish meal‘ fan…..I jumped in.

My first pick was a ‘burger in a bowl‘….no surprise there, I happen to love a good burger. I did however switch up the potatoes the recipe called for and added rice and also I added my favorite burger ingredients ~ onion soup mix and worcestershire sauce.

In all the photos I’ve seen, of all the different kinds of ‘bowls‘ ~ the bowls are loaded with all the ingredients separated ~ it makes for a pretty photo anyway.

….but when eaten and all the flavors mix together it is delicious! This particular recipe reminded me of a Whopper from Burger King. ….I should know, I worked there thru High-School. ….just smile.

Enjoy this simple and classic meal…..in a bowl!
