Beef and Potatoes...and a few extras Crock Pot Meal

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 lb browned ground beef, with salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 lbs russet potatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup sliced onion, I used sweet
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 3 cups shredded sharp cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken or beef broth mixed with 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 cup frozen peas (optional)
  • 1 cup sliced carrots (optional)

Equipment

  • 6 quart or larger Crock Pot

Method
 

  1. Add 1/2 of the browned ground beef to crock pot
  2. combine paprika, garlic powder, parsley, salt & pepper into a small bowl
  3. add half the sliced potatoes, along with 1/2 the onions, peas and carrots
  4. add half the seasonings
  5. and then half the shredded cheese
  6. then repeat the layers
  7. drizzle the broth/soup over all layers
  8. cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 to 8 hours
  9. serve and enjoy
