Merry Christmas

Each Christmas I create handmade gifts for very special people in my life; a co-worker, a neighbor, a friend, my hair-stylist, a teacher, the post lady and our shop keepers, special people that are part of my everyday life.

This gift is created from my hands and heart….

In November I visited Marion of Miss Mustard Seed for a glitter workshop and wanted to give her a homespun Thank You gift, and  created this tag ornament.   I  knew then that this was going to be the gift I present this year to my special friends…..

Handmade, Homemade and Heartfelt….for 2015

This tag ornament is designed as Chalk Board Art using pencils and acrylics.  In 2016 you will find a video, a book, patterns and workshops with new Chalk Art designs….this specific design will be a part of 3 tag ornaments.  Stay tuned…..

The remaining portion of the gift is an in-expensive cello bag, homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with Wilbur Chocolate, scrapbooking paper cut to fit and of course baker’s twine to tie it all together.  I just love packaging!

…and another use for scrapbooking paper!

I chose scrapbooking paper that had a design on both sides.  I also related the colors and style of the paper to the tag design.  The reverse side of the paper has a Christmas Village….the message on the back of the tag is ‘Merry Christmas from Our Home to Yours’….
