Ever since I opened up the bread machine box that was sitting in a closet for 10 years…..it has opened up my world to wonderful tasting dough for pizza! Other than enjoying local pizza from time to time ……It is doubtful I will ever purchase a pre-made pizza crust or dough again. it is that good.
…and it can only get better from here. I used the recipe for pizza dough right from the ‘horses mouth’, aka bread machine manual. I am pretty positive if I search thru my cookbooks and magazines…or Pinterest that I can find more dough recipes to enjoy!
Now getting the pizza into a round shape, that is another story…..someone please let me know the secret, lol.
2tb olive oil, 1 cup of water, followed by 3 cups of flour, a pinch of salt and 1 and 1/2 tsp active dry yeast…then turn the bread machine onto the dough setting and you will have perfect dough in one hour and a half.
We have enjoyed Buffalo Chicken Pizza
Double Cheeseburger Pizza…the hubby’s half has bacon (insert wink, i do not like bacon).
and even Steak House Pizza with a side of Salad
Each recipe coming from a favorite Cookbook, Magazine or Pinterest search.
It’s what’s for dinner and served up onto the snack tables!
mmmm, maybe next time a Chicago Deep DishPizza(from my Chicago friend Sheila Landry…..)!
