As each Christmas Season comes upon us we add Holiday Touches to the Everyday ~ As keepsakes are pulled from the attic boxes ~ each brings a moment to reflect on a special memory, a heartfelt moment, the Kinship and Comfort of a friend or the Joy of family.

These ornaments sit gently in a dough bowl bringing Joy to our hearts. They were gifted to us by my Husbands Grandmother during our First Christmas together 34 years ago. She told me they were from Their first Christmas Tree, so many memories held within each of these ornaments.

There is a new Chicken in Town.

Somehow it is hard to pass up a glass Chicken dish, especially one as pretty as this set of 3. In our decor I try to not get to ‘theme-y’ ~ but these Chickens have melted my Heart again and again and now they are decked out for the Holidays.

Reminding me to always add fun and Joy within our Home….but I just might fall short of fun with a leg lamp, lol!

Placing these mittens into our Christmas vignettes, always reminding me of how wonderful it is to have the Comfort of Family.

My very talented Sister Kristine made these many years ago while she was in college. A treasure for sure to hand down to her Daughter, Abigail.

The vintage mirror purchased this year anchors the displays. Mixing in vintage ironstone, iron candlesticks and Christmas Collectables.

Still smitten with the upside down milkcan lid with glass cloche ~ everything looks good under a cloche!

Making a deal with the Deer and the Birdies this year ‘please don’t eat my Winterberry and you will be supplied with ol’ Pumpkins and Seed‘ ~ this year the Winterberry is beautiful. They heard me.
