All Things Art & Home

No he was not purchased like so and no he was not made by me…..he was just seen thru different eyes.

No special skills needed to be able to see things differently…..you just need to see something beyond what it is ~ let me explain

This

this was how he was found at Michael’s store at 40% off. (you might be able to find him extra in-expensive right now since the stores have been closed to walk in business ~ for pick up).

But ~ I imagined him not as he looked but how he could be changed to suit my decor. Do you do this too? Please tell me it is not just me…..

He Became This

A few simple steps ~ to a pretty Denim Rockin’ Rabbit for a Denim Blue Cottage!

Basecoat with DecoArt Surface Adhesion prior to painting DecoArt Wedgewood Blue with solid coverage.

Then Drybrush DecoArt Victorian Blue, then less of Salem Blue, then less of Slate Grey ~ especially around cheeks, muzzle, paws and tail.

….and that’s it.

…and he is just the sweetest!

and if you missed Part 2 ~ you may be surprised on how to dye those pretty blue eggs! Click (here). ….Yes Mom, those eggs.

Speaking of making changes ~ coming Soon to the blog ~ change a simple clay pot into something extra sweet!

See things differently. Make some changes. Be Happy.

Enjoy!
