Filling your Home with a Fresh Scent of Garden Goodness ~ refreshing Cucumbers!

My hubby, aka ‘Sonny’ to his Family, enjoys gardening ~ including growing delicious Cucumbers! His Mom makes a summer dish called ‘shoustaberskis‘ with Cucumbers~ (spelling it the way it sounds of course)…..not sure where the name came from but I will be sure to share the recipe soon!

The image chosen for ‘Cottage Comforts‘ is of an inherited Cookie Jar from my Great Grandmother…..my husband questions my love for this cookie jar ~ he says it’s creepy,….I say it is filled with sweet family memories.
