Bring a little joy to someone’s heart this Christmas with a ‘Doorknob Gift‘ ~ a perfect way to remain ‘socially distant’ and still spread Joy, Hope and Love.

Simply hang a gift from the doorknob of your family, your friends, a neighbor or even a complete stranger ~ it is sure to bring a little joy to someone’s heart this Christmas ~ especially during these times of missing family, friends and holiday gatherings.

Let’s Create this ‘Door Knob Gift’ ~ A Cotton Canvas Bag for Sweets!

Simply purchase canvas bags in the desired size and quantities (here). A paper bag or stocking would be just as fun!

Then snap a photo or two of your favorite artwork, your family, or even a favorite cookie recipe, then edit and size the photo to the size of the bag, then print onto an iron-on transfer paper for light colored fabrics (such as Styled Basics found at Walmart).

Then follow the instructions on the package to adhere to the canvas bag. (Be sure to mirror image any photo with wording).

When finished, tuck cookies made from your favorite recipe inside…(be sure to seal in a plastic bag for freshness) .

Be creative and match the iron-on transfer to the gift.

Include a poem, bible verses, homemade candy, small toys, art supplies, a puzzle, a journal, a few memories, or even family photos! The ideas are endless.

Then take a ride ~ look at all beautifully decorated homes with twinkling lights and give a few Door Knobs Gifts….sharing the Merry!

Give a gift from your heart and share the works of your hands with a ‘Door Knob Gift’! …..a simple way of sharing the Joy & Hope of Christmas.
