creating art, home & a cottage life

….with no peanut butter.

You all know what a huge fan I am of trying new recipes, collecting recipe books, watching Foodies thru Discovery streaming, and pinning recipes on Pinterest.

And upon finding a favorite recipe, it doesn’t take long to begin researching each Chef/Baker for their Recipe Books (and Websites too) to add to the growing collection.

Who doesn’t love a well stocked Recipe Book Collection.

Si from A Bountiful Kitchen, not only has delicious recipes, but also the most beautiful Recipe Book and Website.

All you need to do is taste one of her recipes and you will be hooked too! Si’s recipe book is well written and laid out perfectly with tips, ideas and beautiful photos. My recipe book is marked with dog ears, hand written ‘keeper’ notes and a few sweet splatters……nothing like a well used recipe book.

I found myself wanting to make a Peanut Butter Blossom Cookie over the Holidays ~ and I found the perfect recipe thru A Bountiful Kitchen. Si’s recipe is for an iced peanut butter cookie ~ I simply just switched the icing to a ‘Wilbur Bud‘ (or Hershey Kiss) during the last 3 minutes of baking.

Make ’em, eat ’em, and allow me to say ‘I told ya so’ ~ they are that good!

You will want this Peanut Butter Cookie to be a part of your ‘Cookie Keeper’ collection.

Find the Recipe (here), Website (here) and Recipe Book (here).

And while you’re at it, you must try these Chocolate Chip Cookies (here)….they will convince you to buy her Recipe Book.

you are most welcome.
