Separating the biz from home life, and work life from hobbies.

Re-group, Re-organize, Re-focus.

As I have been learning, listening, praying and doing some deep thinking about the ‘Classic Amy Joanne‘ biz over the past year or so ~ I’ve come to the understanding that I consistently mix my blog life, my work ‘earnings’ life, and my home life. I turn each hobby into a way to earn an income, instead of just enjoying each one.

Separating all of it ~ just makes better sense.

Now it goes without saying that my home life, art life and work life are all very much wrapped up in the biz. Classic Amy Joanne pretty much is built on it. ….but

I’ve come to the realization that this Blog is a place to share all that we have to offer and not the ‘tool‘ that actually makes the income to keep the biz open. There are some folks that make a living just from Blogging alone ~ thru ads, sponsorships, etc. …..but

I love Blogging for different reasons. To share. And as soon as I wrapped my mind around that I felt free to create content simply for sharing.

My source for ‘what makes an income‘ as ‘Classic Amy Joanne‘ needed to be separate and thought thru with the same kind of deep thinking and making changes along the way…..yes, I’m working on that too.

separating the two ‘blog & income’ has given me a whole-new outlook, a whole-new purpose for sharing.

‘Earning’ from this ‘space’, this ‘blog’ never was or will ever be the driving force to make an income. I needed to separate the two in my mind to make them both work. My focus needs to be on creating for an income and the blog is simply a place to share it all along the way, including home & hobbies too.

I just love when the lightbulb goes on.
