A Trail of Blue is found thru-out our Home, Studio, our First Shop, our Garden, Paintings and More.
To me, ‘Blue‘ is cozy comfort, whether wearing a favorite pair of blue jeans or painting our dining room table ~ from fabric wall paper to desk skirting. I call our style ‘Blue Denim Cottage‘ ~ because I think ‘Blue’ is more than just a color, it’s a captured ‘style’ of cozy and comfort.
It’s a look, a style, a vib and a feeling.
It’s vintage, it’s new, and it’s handmade ~ all collected, curated and coordinated over time.

within the Studio
From vintage painted furniture, to fabric skirting and wall coverings ~ Blue has been a main-stay ~ coordinating nicely with schoolhouse chalkboards, white walls and trim and a bit of green too.
in our Home
It all started 19 years ago by painting all the walls ‘Rain’ by Sherwin Williams in our current home ~ We still love the color today. ‘Rain’ coordinates nicely with all the Denim fabrics, dark wood flooring, white mouldings and even with our latest addition of ‘Park Bench Green’ by Fusion on our pantry cupboard, on a bench, and a few snack and cookie jar lids too.

Our gardens also show our love for Blue, thanks to my hubby.

While designing our first Shop ~ we wanted the ‘shop-design‘ to showcase ‘who‘ we were and also to become a recognizable brand of Classic Amy Joanne. What better way than to incorporate our love of Blue!
