Classic Amy Joanne

If you have been following along for a while you know that Classic Amy Joanne wears alot-of creative hats ~ and one is being a Candle Maker ~ it is the brick & mortar part of the business ~ hosting Open Houses, Our ‘Pop-In & Pick-up’ Shop and also Our ‘Takin’ the Show on the Road’ Travel Events~ AND we have been thinking about how we can bring our fun ideas to you, our on-line friends….so, for today we will put the cart before the horse and share a Gift Set Idea that was created for our brick & mortar Candle Shop.

(we’ll get to the ‘horse’ ~ building a brand, making candles and creating a shop in future posts)

I’m not sure if the clay pot came first, the new candle scent or the embellishment ideas ~ but it all came together nicely as a new Collection for our ‘My Cottage Life Shop‘.

This is our new Farm Fresh Garden Veggie Candle Collection ~ including not only our Gift Set (shown below) but also our Candles, Melting Tarts, Room Sprays, and our new Basket Votives!

Always all things to ‘Warm Your Home and Melt Your Heart‘ ~ (still so smitten with our tag line).

To assemble the Farm Fresh Veggie Gift Set you will need the following

• A Clay Pot with hand poured candle inside (Or fit a jar candle into a clay pot) ~ (Clay Pot I used).
• A Grass Mat (here).
• A few greens and artificial veggies (veggies here).
• A Canning Jar to fit just inside the Clay Pot (Canning Jar I used).
• Coordinating Ribbon.

We’ll be sure to cover Candle Making in another post.

And simply assembled as shown below

• Cut the grass mat to fit inside the clay pot on top of candle, adding a slit-to-center so the wick can peek thru.
• Place an artificial tomato or two or three and some greens on top of the grass mat.
• Remove the lid from the canning jar and place the jar over the tomatoes and onto the grass mat.
• Wrap and Tie with coordinating ribbons to secure jar to clay pot.

Anyone who receives this Gift will be sure to love it (be sure to include the lid for the canning jar so it can be reused).

I am so loving rick-rac ribbon right now, finding some thru Vintage Markets and mostly thru Hobby Lobby.

…and the new scent smells just like fresh veggies!
