‘Candlelight Santa and Matchstick Elfie‘ were first introduced in August 2024, and then we fancied-footed around a ‘Perfect Match‘ Giftset to coordinate….life happened and we never quite got to it….so here we are, finally ~ sharing ‘a Perfect Match’ coordinated ornament set and Giftset!

Our Candlelight Santa and Matchstick Elfie design pattern can be found (here). ~ it is not only a pattern to create thru our popular “Creative Christmas Keepsake Journal” but also an alternative large wood ornament too ~ the surface can be found thru Sheila Landry (here). Imagine the possibilities to coordinate a pretty (and useful) giftset using a matching set of painted ornaments and adding a few gathered goods ~ to create another ‘Cottage Classic Giftable‘ Giftset~ coordinating with Candlelight Santa and Matchstick Elfie too!

First create this matching ornament duo ‘A Perfect Match‘ (pattern found here) onto Sheila Landry’s wood surface (found here). These ornaments also pair nicely with Candlelight Santa.

Then pair the ornaments with a hand-painted coordinated matchstick holder (found here) ~ we painted a few matchsticks onto the holder itself using the pattern as a guide (and added the words ‘a perfect match’) and we even added striker paper (found here) to the side of the holder.

Do you see how nicely the matchstick holder fits into the wood ornament? All by design, nicely coordinated and soooooo Smitten.

After painting the designs ~ then gather the goods ~ matchsticks, candles, ribbon and a pretty basket~ all to create a pretty ‘Cottage Classic Giftable‘ perfectly ‘matched’ for gift giving.
