We’ve been choosing to ‘Dine-In’ over the past few years and hence I’ve been learning to Cook ‘better’ ~ I love the part of knowing what goes into each recipe and choosing each ingredient, it just makes for a tastier and healthier meal.
I’ve made a few Cheeseburger Soup Recipes along the way and have found that ‘this one’ hit all the ‘Cheeseburger‘ flavor notes with each slurp, right down to the mustard.
Adjusting the flavors is always optional when cooking and is an enjoyable process to make it your own…..just another creative outlet, I guess.
Enjoy this recipe ~ be creative, It’s your Cheeseburger, have it your way!

Ingredients
Method
- Add onions and carrots to pot and cook until soft approximately 5 minutes, then add garlic and cook another minute or so.
- Add ground beef, break up and simmer until cooked thru. Drain fat, then add salt and pepper.
- Stir in mustard, diced tomatoes and broth. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 10 minutes. Lower heat then add cheese, half-and-half and flour. Cook until the cheese has melted and soup has thickened about 15 minutes.
- Serve with a side of buttered bread. A hamburger bun!

Thank you! I was thinking soup today, but I wanted something different. This sounds yummy! Tonights dinner!
looks good but you lost me when it has sesame seeds I have allergy to those little seeds so I won’t give it a try plus it has over the limit of carbs for my diabetic diet sorry it does look good. but it is a killer for me thanks for sharing.
I hope my recipes convert well for you to something you can enjoy! 🙂
We loved it, I sure hope you enjoyed it too! 🙂 Thank You!
Looks like a perfect soup for a cold, rainy winter day. I’m going to make for tonight’s dinner! Thanks, Amy!!! 🙂
I hope you enjoyed it….right down to the mustard! Thank You!
Looks so yummy. We have company coming to visit before flying out to see their son tonight. I will make this as it’s raining today and it will be good to have soup and bread ready when they arrive vs going out in the cold and wet weather. Thanks Amy 💞🤗
I hope it was yummy and everyone enjoyed, right down to the mustard! 🙂
