A simple housewarming gift or a ‘welcome to the neighborhood’, a ‘sweet thank you’ or even a summer picnic centerpiece.
This Classic Chalk Art Gift House offers a fresh new idea, ‘Home Sweet Home’!
Personalize it with a special message on the roof, a matching wood gift tag, stamped tissue paper, pretty flowers and wrapped in baker’s twine or ribbon.
Heartfelt and easy on the pocketbook….coming in under $10.00 with flowers!
This simple paper mache house was painted with the same chalkboard method as all the previous patterns I created (a quick ‘how-to’ post coming soon, I promise). Penciled with a Prismacolor white pencil using a ruler. Then add dippy-dot orange marigolds with DecoArt Orange Flame and Holly Green paint ~ my go to paint! Imagine that ~ a few simple supplies and easy steps to a pretty awesome gift!
get creative….add mailboxes, storefronts, kitty cats, puppy dogs, flag banners, brick and siding. It is only limited to your imagination.
and yet another use for scrapbooking paper…..match the paper to the colors of the flowers and adhere to the back of the wood gift tag…so pretty!
the paper mache gift house can be found at Hobby Lobby. I will offer the house soon as well…keep watchin’ the 4 sale page ~
