  1. Your story is too funny and yet I can relate to it. When my father was in the hospital my mother would visit him each day. My brothers and I would stay home and often my younger brother and I would bake. One day when we made cookies and they came out of the oven we tasted them and they were super salty. My brother had accidentally spilled the salt into the batter. We then made icing and put it over the cookies. It did not help. Fun memories

I love salt dough ornaments. I remember doing these with my kids when they were young; the hand prints were their favorite. Thanks for the reminder of this fun, and fond memories. I’m going to want your autograph (signed on a salt ornament) since I now know the inventor 🤣.

  3. Love, love, love!

    1. Thank you so much Lynn!

    2. Thank you Lynn!

Hi Amy. I am taking this class and I am very happy and excited about it. Are there any color photos available? I didn’t get any with the download. I would also like to claim my “Milk amd Holly” chalk art pattern. I love your patterns and designs. I am working on 2 of the Joyful Santa’s now. I took both of them on an overnight tirip last weekend. Very relaxing. I really enjoy it. Thank you for bringing attention to this style of creating. I really love it.

    1. Thank you! A lot of dreaming and hard work to do! But we love it! …..another blue fan!

  24. I always look at most of the aspects of my life as a ‘work in progress’. Be it home, business, living areas, or whatever. Life is fluid and ever-changing and I like to think that I will remain flexible enough to be that way as well. Your visions and ideas are beautiful and so exciting! I can’t wait to see them come into reality. We are so fortunate to have the internet and Pinterest and other places like that to seek and find ideas and then tweak them into our own. What a wonderful and inspiring post! <3

Amy, hi again! I’d like to teach this class at Shades of Culler. The ladies love, love, love Claus, inc! We are a small group of 7. One of our group, my dear friend Judy Christianson, has already received hers. I’d like at least 6 more. Did you say you did discounts for class quantities? I’d pass any savings to group If so and order all at once. Just let me know about ordering all. please! Thank you! Alicia,

    1. Hello Alicia! Thank you, I would love to have you teach this! I will send you an email a little later today with all the details!

  31. Janet Roache says:

    1. Thank you so much! Been enjoying some down time! Enjoy 😉😉🙂

  32. Kathy says:

Is this painted directly on glass or on a wrap of some kind? What type of acrylic paint do you use? Americana?

    1. I use DecoArt Americans 🙂 it is painted directly on glass….this pattern is a little older so the paint I used was not made for glass so it is not dishwasher safe….they now make glass paints that I would prefer to use if done over….Hope this helps

  33. Lisa says:

I remember painting from one of your patterns and when I finished the piece I asked my husband what he thought. “Very nice, he said.” I said, “it doesn’t look like CLASSIC AMY JOANNE though.” Of course he looked at me like I had 12 heads so I showed him photos of your work. He said, “yeah, she really does have her own style doesn’t she? You could probably pick out her work in an art show with everyone using the same “stuff” that she uses.” So, you see, your art and style is definitely recognizable…even to a man who doesn’t know too much about that kind of thing 😁. I wish you much success with your shop. Your love for art and home really shines through each piece displayed.

    1. You are so sweet to share this with me…..I do hope that my work is recognized…just like so many of my mentors work has been to me …..but I also dream of sharing my Art so that others find their style by adding to it or changing colors to suit their personal wants🙂….I am so grateful for your encouragement, sharing, following along and your friendship! Thank uuuuu

    2. hi loving this….where do i purchase your beautiful handmade tags? Thank you….Sending HuGs💗🎵🌷🎵🌷🎵🌷💗

      1. Hello! Thank you so much for your kind comment, each one makes me smile! I am not quite sure which tags you are seeing…..I mostly sell patterns to create, a few wood surfaces and every once in a while a custom piece or two….I do have a local booth at an antique shop as well…if there is anything I can help you find I will be happy to assist! Thank you again for all your support….sending hugs back 🙂

  34. Judy Kulmaczeski says:
