Create Art & Curate Your Home

Classic Chalk Art had a bit of a revival this past Friday evening, thanks to a free demo thru FaceBook Live in the Group ‘Artfully Connected with Cindy Harrison’, ‘Watch, Learn & Pencil‘ !

And Curiosity happened….ya, know ’cause the name itself is pretty deceiving.

The question most received is ‘will it erase?‘ And the answer is ‘No, it really isn’t Chalk‘. Say What?????

It is a wood canvas (or any wood surface) painted in Acrylic Black or Chalkboard Paint, then distressed with Paint to look like an erased chalkboard, then the design is created in Colored Pencil, when the pencil hits the wood it looks grainy like chalk….’hence, Classic Chalk Art‘ !

You can still catch the demo replay thru our Facebook Group ‘Artfully Connected with Cindy Harrison’. It makes my heart happy to see so many folks creating and commenting on the Friday evening Demos!
